# API billing balance

Use GET /v1/billing to read the separate prepaid USD balance for the user who owns the API key.

Add funds in the API Console by card or cryptocurrency. Customers in Malaysia can also use GrabPay or FPX; the checkout displays an exact MYR charge while the selected USD amount is credited after verified payment.

The response includes availableUsdMicros, reservedUsdMicros, spendableUsdMicros, and monthSpendUsdMicros. One USD equals 1,000,000 USD micros. Byta app weekly and permanent credits are never charged by API requests.
